2023 marks the 75th anniversary of the arrival of HMT Empire Windrush to Britain.
In June, The Avenues and The Harrow Road Soup Kitchen provided a fantastic afternoon of food, music and culture to celebrate the countless contributions of the Windrush generation in the building modern Britain.
We are hoping to make this an annual event, if funding can be found.
